Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technical Advisory Committee

The Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technical Advisory Committee (HTAC) was established under Section 807 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (PDF 12 KB) to provide technical and programmatic advice to the Energy Secretary on DOE's hydrogen research, development, and demonstration efforts. Some of the following documents are available as Adobe Acrobat PDFs. Download Adobe Reader.

The original 25 committee members were appointed in June 2006 after a nomination process. This group included representatives of domestic industry, academia, professional societies, government agencies, financial organizations, and environmental groups, as well as experts in hydrogen safety.

HTAC Meetings

HTAC hosts periodic meetings for its members and other interested parties.
