DOE Announces Hydrogen Funding Opportunity for Small Businesses

DOE recently issued a Small Business Innovation Research Phase I funding opportunity notice that includes a hydrogen component focusing on off-board bulk hydrogen storage, hydrogen liquefaction, hydrogen compression, and photoelectrochemical hydrogen production.

Phase I grants up to $100,000 will be competitively awarded for evaluating the commercial potential of various technologies. Applications must be submitted via grants.gov by November 21, 2006.
