Case Study of Fuel Cell Backup-Power Systems for Telecommunications and Emergency Response Communications Facilities

Initial sales of fuel cells for telecommunications backup power began in late 2004. Already, as of early 2008, telecommunications companies had purchased an estimated 300-500 fuel cell systems. The following case study describes some of these telecommunications and similar emergency response communication use experiences.
