Hydrogen Interagency Task Force
The Hydrogen Interagency Task Force (HIT) is mandated under Section 806 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (PL 109-58). It is a collaboration among U.S. federal agencies to further advance a whole-of-government approach to executing the national hydrogen strategy, including development of a robust market supported by domestic supply chains and well-paid jobs.
Interagency coordination will continue to expand to implement the national strategy, and other agencies may be added to the HIT as the hydrogen economy develops over time. More information about HIT activities will be available on this page soon.
